Miuosh x Libero – a unique musical project

31.03.2017

Miuosh, a Silesian rap musician, well known for his numerous, unconventional artistic collaborations, soon after the release of his new album entitled “POP” once again surprises musically. This time the musician invited young and promising bands from Katowice, called Hengelo, Soxso and Jóga to join him in musical collaboration. The artists met for the very first time.

The result was the album URB4N– a musical mix inspired by the cultural diversity of the constantly changing city of Katowice. The album contains musical compositions that give rhythm to the city. Miuosh – an artist who began his journey in Katowice, says about the project:

URB4N is a unique undertaking because it has connected people from Katowice and created a new stream of urban music. We have managed to grasp the nature of the city and its beat. It is amazing that Libero, as a new place in Katowice, from the very beginning fits squarely into the city.

The project was initiated by Libero – a place being developed in the south of Katowice, where shopping, sport, culture, entertainment and music meet.

Libero has been focused on Katowice from the very beginning. We support the Korez Theatre in Katowice and female football players from GKS Katowice sports club. We also know how important music is for Katowice. A musical project was a natural continuation of our local activities. The cooperation with Miuosh and young Silesian bands has been a real pleasure for us. The result was a unique musical project perpetuated by the energy of the city. We are glad that we could support the Katowice music community and we encourage everyone to dive into this unusual, truly urban experience.” – says Katarzyna Porębska, Marketing Manager at Echo Investment SA, developer of Galeria Libero in Katowice.
